Our Nature Family

When would I have imagined that in nature I would find my true self? Maybe that doesn’t sound so strange, for we all seek nature in our vacations, searching for natural spots to unwind, breather and reconnect with ourselves. I always loved to be in nature. I think we can all agree that when in nature we are more relaxed, joyful and mesmerized by its beauty. She has that enveloping soothing energy that heals us, our bodies and mind. I found out there is a reason for that.

Although I have spent a lot of my childhood in nature, I missed noticing that she was speaking to me. All this time. Yet, I was not listening. I had forgotten my relationship with her, a relationship of motherhood. For I was born from nature, from the living cells of Mother Earth that make me who I am. And that I am, like all of us, part of her family. A family of beautiful and magical beings that love all and love me. And what a blessing! To extend my family like this. Having new brothers and sisters that are there for me, to listen, to share, to restore. Restore my relationship of kinship with all living things. And with love, I speak, listen and take care of them. For family takes care of one another.

Our older brothers and sisters are the plants and trees that live here for hundreds of thousands of years before us. They are always willing to teach us and to bring back that memory of where we belong. Reminding us that we belong to this divine creation. It requires an open heart and trust in our intuition to hear their messages and loving songs, but they are there for all of us to hear and for all of us to find.

Their messages carry words of truth and the nurturing call of Mother Earth asking us to come back home. Home to understanding our true selves, that place of love, peace and freedom that exists within us. A place where our Earth family is reconnected and restored.

So I invite you to look around and notice your family all around you.
